Loading a truck correctly, quickly and safely is one of the most demanding moments in any industrial laundry. ABS is turning that daily challenge into something anyone can try from a browser with the launch of Truck Load Turbo, a new interactive game built around the same principles that guide the Truck Load Assistant application on the dispatch floor.
The game follows Turbo Mo, a dispatch operator racing against the clock to sort, pack and load every stack correctly before the truck doors close.
It was another busy morning at the ABSSolute Laundry, and Turbo Mo was already hard at work. A large order had just arrived from one of the laundry’s biggest customers, and hundreds of freshly cleaned hand towels needed to be packed, loaded and delivered before the end of the day.
The towels came steadily along the conveyor belt in stacks of red, blue and green. Mo’s job was to make sure every stack went into the correct roller cage, with no colours mixed and no towels left behind. The order was larger than usual, and the delivery truck was already waiting at the loading bay with its doors open, but Mo stayed calm and focused, filling cage after cage and rolling each one into place.
Then the conveyor suddenly sped up, and there was only one thing left to do.
