Modern industrial laundries rely heavily on structured processes to manage packing, inventory, and customer deliveries. As volumes increase and workflows become more complex, it becomes essential to maintain accuracy, visibility, and control throughout the entire packing process. The updated Unique Bundles feature is part of ABSSolute Infinity, a broader platform evolution designed to modernize and unify operational workflows.

The Unique Bundles feature introduces a structured way of grouping products into barcoded bundles, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual handling. By linking physical bundles directly to digital records, laundries can ensure consistent tracking, accurate deliveries, and better inventory control.

What is Unique Bundles?

Unique Bundles is a feature that enables the creation of grouped products identified by a unique barcode. Each bundle represents a defined quantity of items, such as a stack of sheets from the ironer, which is labeled and tracked as a single unit within the system.

During packing, these bundles are scanned against the packing note. The system automatically verifies quantities and notifies when the required number of bundles has been reached. This removes the need for manual counting and ensures consistency across operations.

Unique Bundles also supports RFID tagged items within bundles. When a bundle is scanned, all included items are automatically assigned to the correct customer and marked as ready for packing. This creates a direct link between physical inventory and digital records.

Improved Packing Accuracy

The use of barcoded bundles ensures that each group of products is processed correctly. Scanning bundles against the packing note allows the system to validate quantities in real time.

This approach reduces reliance on manual counting, minimizes errors, and limits ready to be packed stock. The system provides clear alerts to operators, supporting a controlled and efficient packing flow.

RFID Integration and Customer Assignment

Bundles may contain multiple RFID tagged items and can be linked to a specific customer or shared across customers. When a bundle is scanned, all included items are automatically assigned to the relevant customer.

This ensures that:

  • All items within a bundle are processed as a single unit
  • Customer assignment is handled automatically
  • RFID tracking remains accurate throughout the process

The result is improved transparency in inventory handling and a reduction in manual administrative actions.

Bundle Returns and Expiration Control

Unique Bundles introduces flexibility in handling returned bundles. When a customer has surplus products, bundles can be collected without issuing credit.

Each returned bundle is assigned an expiration date. After expiration, the bundle is dismantled and its items return to the washing process. This ensures inventory remains up to date and prevents outdated stock from remaining in circulation.

Old vs New Workflow

Due to the development of ABSSolute Infinity, new screen designs have been introduced to better support usability, clarity, and efficiency in daily operations.
