Job Description
As a (Senior) Business Consultant you are responsible for the preparation, implementation, and management of various customer projects. You will be the face of the organization and first point of contact, beginning with the sale and extending through full implementation of our software applications.
Your tasks will mainly consist of:
- Project management for North America, based in the U.S.A.
- Service management to build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Creating customer visit reports and follow-up to the actions.
- Regularly scheduled reporting to project shareholders.
- Generate and manage projects using proven tools and methodologies.
- Guidance during installation of software and hardware.
- Creating customized user manuals and process descriptions.
- Provide application training of new functionality relevant to each installation.
- Manage complete life cycle of data migration from legacy systems.
- Gap analysis between legacy system and ABS products and services. Communicate with internal resources to find suitable resolutions for each gap identified.
- Testing and documenting newly developed software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Fluent in English, with any additional languages being a plus.
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout North America.
- Customer service oriented.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude when dealing with customers.
- Analytical and innovative thinking with attention to details.
- Effective communication with strong presentation skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Proactive personality with a desire to learn.
- Experience in project management (e.g. PMP).
- Experience in implementing logistical/ERP applications will be a plus.
